Bitcoin mining firm Marathon Digital (MARA) has mined an invalid Bitcoin block at peak 809478, in line with a number of builders, miners and researchers.
Nameless Bitcoin developer “0xB10C” wrote on X that MaraPool had a “transaction ordering problem,” this was confirmed by CasaHODL co-founder Jameson Lopp.
The invalid Bitcoin block was rejected by different node operators. The block contained a transaction that was ordered incorrectly with a spending output transaction, thus the block was invalidated, in line with BitMEX Analysis.
Marathon Digital didn’t instantly reply to CoinDesk’s request for remark.
